The day was glorious. The crowds were impressive. The display perfect! Buses of school
age children came, I heard nearly each teacher say to their kids in some way or another
that this was a hallowed memorial, where hero's died for their country. The kids were in
awe as they walked The Wall, to see and hear so many names. There was no fooling
around, no kid pranks, only a somber walk, I was impressed !! At the end of our 4 hour
shift we left with a smile on our faces, and glad that we were able to be a part of it.
